About Me

Hey! My name is Tyler, but you can call me Ty. I've been an elite Track and Field athlete for the Philippine National Team for 5 years and a speed trainer for 5 years as well. I specialize in speed development and strength and have extensive experience with a wide variety of programs. My training goals revolve around discovering the most effective exercises from all programs I've worked with, and creating the best plans for every individual I train.

I grew up in LA and currently live in San Diego. I was a multi-sport athlete (football, track, basketball) until I was given the opportunity to compete on the Track and Field Team at the University of Southern California. There, I worked my way up to earning a Team Captain spot and athletic scholarship. It did not come easy but it showed me what hard/smart work can do.

Upon graduation, I knew I wanted to continue my career and chase my lifelong olympic dream. I joined the Philippine National Track and Field team in 2013 and haven't looked back. It was the best decision I've ever made, and it has allowed me to see the world and meet the most incredible people along the way. I've seen constant improvement every year as a result of my attention to detail

I worked as a speed and strength trainer for 2+ years at a Carlsbad, CA training facility called Prolific Athletes. I learned the ins and outs of training youth, high school, college, and professional athletes. I worked very closely with Ryan Flaherty, a friend and current Director of Performance at NIKE, and he mentored me through the world of training.

I'm always looking to connect with new people. I found that a perfect way to do that is through training and reaching goals together. Let's work!
